Launch of the New Investing in Skills Scheme
The Investing in Skills (IIS) Scheme, administered by Jobsplus, was launched earlier this month and its set to start with training on September 25, 2023. Focusing on skill development and adaptability, the IIS Scheme aims to empower individuals and businesses in Malta. It provides support and training to those actively participating in the Maltese Labour Market, ultimately striving to enhance productivity and adaptability.
This initiative comes with a substantial budget of approximately €4 million and offers a chance to invest in skills, personal growth, and the future of Malta’s workforce.
About the Investing in Skills (IIS) Scheme
The IIS Scheme has consistently proven its worth in the past, benefiting numerous companies and individuals in Malta. Its core mission is to improve the skills of individuals actively engaged in the Maltese Labour Market. By doing so, it aims to achieve two pivotal objectives:
